Malacca Trip

oh my. here i am blogging abt my Malacca trip, and my Hong Kong trip is STILL yet to be completed. maybe i've been travelling too much this yr. or just procrastinating too much. *heez*

coming back, Malacca was great! i SO love jonker walk, the buildings and shops there selling antiques and cute but generally useless items. there were so much to see! and i love love love the ice lemon tea at banyan gallery. SO LOVE IT! now there's a new item on my list of god-forbidden cravings. can die sia.

so during the trip, i took loads of photos, trying out diff shots at diff angles and functions with my newly acquired photog knowledge from self-help books. can u believe tt i didnt even noe abt the macro function! *smacks forehead* and the object of my shots are mostly of the buildings and historical sites there. and of cos, candid shots of my mum. there isnt much photos of myself though, which was quite sad cos it was like my second time there since the last decade?

having said tt, i think the shopping kinda made up for the lack of photos. i bought so much stuff, clothes, shoes, bags, cute but generally useless items. and my mum was such a devil's advocate, she just had to encourage me to buy more! she was like "buy if u like it, i still got money for u to borrow!" think i gotta live on water and bread next month cos i totally busted my budget for the trip. sighz. there goes my savings for the orthodontics.
even though it was the festive period, there wasnt really much gg on in Malacca. i was expecting some kind of celebrations during the nite and colorful decorations on the streets. but there was none. though the pasar malam at jonker walk was hyper. (i had to sulk for us to stay on till the rain stopped, which mum was glad we did eventually!) and the locals there had fun with minor fireworks and firecrackers. at 1 in the morning. and random firecrackers cracking off thru out the nite. such disturbance to our slp!

//as can tell, im not really in the mood to describe the whole bloody trip. more excited to show the photos. so here goes.
